Background: Coronal microleakage is one of the major causes of the failure of endodontic treatment. Loss of coronal seal can be due to leakage of temporary filling material or fracture of the permanent restoration. Thus, the use of an intraorifice barrier material can be very effective in reducing leakage and improving the treatment outcome.
