Background: Disturbed self-perception and bad psychological conflict could be resulted from a disease or other conditions that cause hair loss e.g. cicatricial alopecia. Hair transplantation could be used for scar camouflage in hair bearing areas of the head and neck and can provide restoration not obtainable with other methods, and that could change the lives of patients and restore them to the premorbid condition.
