Abstract

Abstract: Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) is one of the childhood behavior problems that is characterized by indiscipline and unfriendliness. Roughly 10% of children under the age of twelve are believed to suffer from this condition, where boys outweigh girls by a ratio of 2:1. Early diagnosis and management are most important in these cases because children with undiagnosed ODD are more likely to engage in antisocial behavior as adults, which may have an effect on their quality of life, job, and relationships. This study had been conducted in order to assess Oppositional Defiant Disorder in children aged three to nine years of age. Usually, it is known that the age of onset is most commonly after three years, but a lot of parents do not know about the clinical indicators of ODD. And hence the disease progresses; hence, this particular age group is taken, and the scale used to assess is “The Mojave Child and Adolescent Symptom Rating Scale: Oppositional Defiant Disorder (Child/Teen)," which is often used to describe the seriousness of the symptoms between the ages of 3 and 9. And those cases diagnosed using the Disruptive behaviour disorder rating scale (DBDR) scale were treated constitutionally with homoeopathic medicines and followed up every month, and the study was concluded after 6 months.
